We are delighted to announce our Presentation Day 2026, a special event celebrating all the hard work and progress our students have made throughout the year at June Rendell Altrincham Dance Academy.
This year, we have booked The Fuse, Partington, giving our dancers the exciting opportunity to perform on a professional stage and showcase the routines they have been working on in class.
Presentation Day is also a fantastic opportunity for prospective students and families to see what we do, think of it as an open day, but on a big stage. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch.
Everyone is invited to perform, from preschool dancers right through to adults. Participation is encouraged regardless of ability or how long students have been dancing with us.
There will be no costumes to purchase. All students will perform in the correct JRADA uniform that they should already be wearing to class.
There will just be a £10.00 performance fee per student, which covers the cost of the dress rehearsal theatre booking and ensures all teachers and staff can be paid fairly for what will be a long day of rehearsals (approximately 9:00am–5:00pm).
The technical rehearsal will take place on Saturday 11th July 2026, between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Students will not be required for the full day and will instead be allocated a time slot of approximately 60-90 minutes. Rehearsals will run in grade order, with younger students earlier in the day and senior/adult students later. Please note that there will be no regular classes at the dance school on this day.
Performances will take place on Sunday 12th July 2026, with 2 shows scheduled: a matinee performance starting at approximately 1:00pm and an evening performance starting at approximately 5:00pm. Each show will run for around 2 hours, including an interval.
Students in Grade 2 and below will perform in 1 show only, while those in Grade 3 and above will perform in both. If a student attends classes across both levels (for example, Grade 2 in one subject and Grade 3 in another), we encourage them to take part in both performances, although this is not compulsory.
To take part, all students must sign up via ClassForKids so that we know exactly how many dancers will be participating.
